Light Frame Games, an indie game studio.

We are a small studio built on nearly two decades of chart-topping video game and blockbuster feature film experience, making the games that we want to play.

Video Games made for Gamers by Gamers.

Located on Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Canada. A boutique studio for industry vets. A small, independent, collaborative environment where creativity drives decision-making.

LFG is founded on the principle that small, experienced, and talented teams can create better game experiences without organizational bloat and corporate-driven productions.

We approach game dev the way you'd approach designing a luxury car: every detail is crafted with intention. We believe an indie game can feel like a luxurious, curated experience.

Hi, I'm Nathan, founder of Light Frame Games

As founder of Light Frame Games, my mission is to create an environment where developing games is a balanced and rewarding experience for developers, a place where we can make the games of our dreams, and in doing so ensure that human creativity remains at the forefront of digital creation.

I have a long-established track record of crafting games and visual effects at the highest level, backed by a rigorous approach and a relentless work ethic.

From being the sole environment artist on Sons of the Forest, to establishing the look and technique for Aquaman's underwater hair simulation as Creature Effects Lead on Justice League, to hand-coding crowd and cloth solvers—including a crowd solver at Industrial Light and Magic used on Star Wars and many other films—I've consistently brought artistic and technical problem-solving together.

Be the best, then do better!

LFG is currently open to expressions of interest from 3D Artists and Game Programmers. We're interested in speaking with the top talent in the industry. If your portfolio or experience is unrivaled, and you want to make the best games in the world, get in touch.
